    Showing new pieces by three American Designers, Council will launch its 2014 collection at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York. San Francisco, CA—May 2014—Council Inc., the American contemporary furniture manufacturer, is pleased to introduce several new pieces—including a variety of seating options, storage, and a table—at the ICFF. The brand will also show a couple of its classic designs that have been updated, or are newly in production. Council will exhibit at booth 1304 at ICFF, which runs from May 17-20 at the Jacob K.   • Council Celebrates its 5th Consecutive Year at ICFF

    Council is pleased to return to the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) this spring. The American contemporary furniture manufacturer will introduce four new pieces, further expanding upon a collection that has come rather quickly to be known for its thoughtful contemporary aesthetic, extraordinary attention to craft, and refreshing contribution to the international design scene. Council will return to booth 1708 at ICFF, which runs from May 14-17 at the Jacob K.   • Commonwealth Restaurant Opens in San Francisco

    Commonwealth restaurant opens in San Francisco’s Mission District. Featuring an innovative menu by executive chef Jason Fox, the restaurant also gives back by donating a portion of proceeds to charity. Council Projects was engaged to provide interior design and branding services, as well as the fabrication of a hickory bar, dining tables, and shelving.
  • Joby Opens New San Francisco Offices

    International design brand Joby engaged Council Projects, along with designer Philip Wood, to design solutions for their new San Francisco headquarters. The new office includes two custom 28-foot Corian worktables that cantilever from the building’s pillars without touching the ground. Custom hickory and Corian rolling storage pedestals and a white Divis reception desk from Council’s collection round out the stunning, yet functional space.
